The Bachelor of Science in Strength and Conditioning (QQI Level 7) has now become a most attractive and popular sport coaching qualification. There are 18 modules in total. This award combines the six modules of the Certificate in Strength and Conditioning, the additional six of the Higher Certificate in S&C and the final six modules of the degree.
The programme is designed to produce specialist coaching professionals capable of working in strength and conditioning, health and fitness and physical activity related fields. It will also equip the learner with the knowledge and skills to lead long term sport, health and fitness, physical activity and strength and conditioning programme development.
Students will study one module at a time, each lasting three months. The course duration is four and a half years and student intakes occur at three stages throughout the year, during the first week in March, September and December.
