Sport & Exercise Psychology
Programme overview
The aim of this course is to provide the opportunity for the professional to acquire specialist skills in dealing with the factors impacting motivation, anxiety, and concentration.
The course also explores resilience, the psychology of injury, and various tools and techniques to work with clients.
At the end of this course students will be able to:
• Understand psychological interventions such as PST, Goal Setting, Self-Talk, and Mental Imagery
• Understand how to impact client motivation and adherence to the exercise programme
• Display an understanding of the impact of anxiety and current or former injuries on training
